Advanced Infrastructure Project for a Property Management Company with two sites who wanted to merge their Microsoft Active Directories
The Challenge
A Property Management company was in the process of merging with another firm. Both companies had their own Microsoft active directory providing the means to manage the identities and relationships of users in their network environments. They needed to merge these two directories as soon as possible so that users in the new site could access relevant data and business applications from the company’s network.
The Solution
EACS built two way transitive trust relationships between the two forest root domains so that users could log onto their PCs and access relevant data in both networks. This included the ability to view the company’s Intranet, with the correct permissions, which was running on Microsoft SharePoint. Now centralised business applications can be delivered to both sites and all users can only access the relevant information and applications.
